Even though I decided not to publish any more new Shadow Gangs music, this one is really topping the game tracks up to now.
Shadow Gangs will have some of the best video games music ever made! I am now finishing the AI for the hostage guardian, and soon we'll start the levels art and design phase. The levels you saw before were test levels (demo, and boss levels), the real levels are coming! Stay tuned! While Dan fighter is getting redone, hopefully getting it's art finished next week, I am making AI code for the enemies.
And all of them has their AI done at the alpha stage. The last AI one is Hauffman (Hostage guardian) which I am finishing now. There was a plan to add shops to the game, but i decided to not add them. The reason is, instead of shops, the player will rely more on exploration to find new weapons. I think this will make the game more exciting. The 2 types of bonus stages (2d, and 3d perspective) however will be there (which are also a kind of shop with luck and precision instead of money). Also, like in Shinobi, some boss enemies (maybe all of them apart the last one) will show up at the end of some levels. This is a great idea, and Shadow Gangs will make use of it. There will also be a big emphasis on the story, which will be conveyed with animated screens. |
